Your premises might be a country house, rural family home, or even a city property. It matters little to us though, as we can install our gates and wooden garden bridges to fit any space. Additionally, since we use superior timbers in our designs, they will last you for years.
At some point, you’ve probably considered introducing a wooden bridge into your garden. Aside from morphing your space into an alluring focal point, bridges can add character. Furthermore, there are plenty of ways in which you can use them. What we’re going to do is discuss some of these uses here.
Over the pond
The most obvious use for a bridge is to put it over your pond. If your pond is extra large, the new addition can be very beneficial. This is because it’ll enable you to make your way around the property much quicker. If your pond contains fish, then the bridge can provide them with shade during the hot summer months. Bridges that include railings are wonderful when it comes to child safety. Children are often curious about ponds and their contents. Having railings installed will help to prevent accidents.
Over a flora
You may not have thought about it, but you could also position a bridge over your plants. With a walkway over your flowerbed or vegetable patch, people aren’t as likely to trod all over them. You’ll be free to show off your gardening skills without putting your flora at risk. Just make sure that sunlight can still get to the plants and remember to water them.
At Wood & Wisdom, we design our wooden garden bridges so that they are able to match your precise specifications. With a span reaching up to 14 metres, our creations can cross water features, lakes, and rivers. You can choose to have our workers place the bridge, or you can assemble it yourself.
If we can assist you at all, please let us know.
